Understanding Digital Image Processing for Your Website
“Understanding Digital Image Processing for Your Website” is a short course that will provide the student with an overview of digital image formats, compression, and sizing for the web.
This course has 8 lessons explaining in simple to understand terms, the differences between raster and vector images, the most common image formats, and the advantages of each format. It also covers compression techniques such as lossy and lossless compression and how they affect image quality and file size. The course also emphasizes the importance of image sizing for web optimization, including how to choose the correct resolution and pixel dimensions for images. Overall, this guide is a useful resource for understanding the technical aspects of digital images for web use, which can help individuals and businesses create effective, visually appealing online content.
I split the lessons into three groups, each with a short quiz. The quiz is designed to test your understanding of the subject.
The course is available to you on-line for as long as MacKenzie Arts & Design maintains a business (my lifetime). You may share your login within your company or household but please do not share your credentials indiscriminately. At these prices there is no need.
