By purchasing a maintenance agreement you have as retained MacKenzie Arts & Design to proceed with monitoring your website and you agree to our terms and conditions:
MacKenzie Arts & Design agrees to devote up to the stated hours per month on assignments to be determined by you. In addition, your website will be monitored, regular software updates will be installed, and any alerts addressed as needed.
The use of this service assumes all requests will be made via our ticketing system which enables us to track time. AS OF JANUARY 2017, REQUESTS MADE BY REGULAR EMAIL WILL BE BILLED AT THE REGULAR FULL RATE.
This program requires FTP access to your hosting account and administrative access to your WordPress website. If your company doesn’t have a dedicated IT department we’ll need administrative access to your hosting account as well.
Services in addition to allotted hours per month will be made available at 20% off the regular published rates.
Any expenses exclusive of normal overhead are not included in this agreement and will be billed separately. Examples of such expenses are software, 3rd party programming, hosting, domain services, security software, hosting plan upgrades, etc… Any expenses will be discussed prior to purchases. These fees will be billed separately.
This service in no way guarantees 100% uptime nor does it guarantee your website will not be hacked or damaged by malware. We may recommend you install additional protection on your website.
We also can not guarantee that an update to your website will not produce a conflict that may require time and programming to resolve.
Should such a conflict do to our involvement in updating your site, it will be resolved at no cost to you. If however your site is hacked you will be billed for any time or service beyond the allotted time in your chosen plan.
We will institute a backup process and keep 2 recent copies but we can not guarantee that a complete restoration will be successful in the event of a hack.
We are not available 24/7 – this is a one-man operation. Response time is not guaranteed but the goal is 1 business day.
