About ZINK Imaging

The ZINK Design & Print Studio is a proprietary app for the hAppy smart app printers by ZINK Imaging. I created many of the seamless backgrounds for this application. The backgrounds had an alpha channel which combined with the available background colors created limitless potential for the end user. In all we created over 30 background sets with 15 images and over 360 color combinations for over 162,000 available backgrounds available at product launch. The demonstration to the left illustrates how the choice of background color changes the look of the pattern.

I also worked on the UI design of the app, creating wireframes and assets for both iOS and Android platforms. The screenshots and videos below show the application in use and some of the full-color wireframes I produced. Working directly with the app developers I also gained experience in managing assets in Eclipse and Xcode.

My contract with ZINK lasted 20 months until October 2013.
